“I wrote this song after my first CD was released.
I pretended to be on the Ellen Show and thought maybe I would be.
I’m still thinking about it.
This version is not the studio version, which has
a extra section and drums, bass, guitar, saxophone.
This video version is me playing piano and singing in my house.
“It’s always something for those of us who are schedule challenged. On my way out to hear Valerie sing at a local church I saw a roach on its back headed for the beyond. I knew that if I left it, it would manage to die someplace where I wouldn’t be able to find it.
So I took care of it and of course, I was late. I wrote the lyrics at the church and the rest is a pretty true to life cartoon.”
